Despite what you might have seen on Gateway Pundit -- an online outlet known for publishing hoaxes, misinformation and conspiracy theories as fact -- Wisconsin has done no such thing.
The truth is that one guy in the Wisconsin legislature proposed such a resolution. State Rep. Timothy Ramthun introduced a proposal to ‘take back’ President Biden’s electors in the state, where he beat former President Donald Trump by about 20,000 votes. The resolution was immediately shut down by Ramthun’s fellow Republican lawmakers, who called it “illegal” and “unconstitutional.”
